LK Architecture is committed to providing our clients with designs that honor each project and site’s unique attributes while creating memorable experiences. We strive to understand not only the special conditions and challenges of each project but also the nuances of context and the dynamics of unique user groups. Our landscape architects create places for people to live their lives and experience the outdoors in meaningful and memorable ways.
LK Architecture has the ability to provide an array of landscape architectural services in both a supportive role and as lead depending on project scope.
Our Landscape Architects have completed projects on a national scale – from West Coast California, throughout the Midwest where our firm is based, to the East Coast. As an integral part of our firm, the Landscape Architecture team is helping to redefine the way people experience place- ensuring that every project reflects not only technical excellence, but also meaningful connections between people, nature, and the built environment.
With more than 25 years of experience, our landscape architects can lead a diverse range of project types from inception through completion. We have managed multiple public projects through public engagement and consensus, building processes to ensure that solutions are rooted in their communities and unique circumstances. Our decades of experience have given us the sensitivity, creativity and expertise needed to assist clients in a diverse range of project types and circumstances.
We approach projects differently. Our landscape architects challenge traditional beliefs about outdoor spaces and how they are utilized. To do this, we strive to understand what the real aspirations are for projects by questioning assumptions and typical solutions. Our goal is to create interesting, engaging and flexible places that provide clients and users with opportunities for meaningful experiences.
Our landscape architects pride themselves on being responsive and fluid to our clients and their needs. How projects are originally conceived of is, oftentimes, not how they eventually emerge. Design is a fluid process, and we understand that we, as designers, need to be flexible to the changing goals, objectives and priorities that occur. Staying mindful of this maintains a culture of openness to opportunities that present themselves throughout the design process.
