Originally constructed in 1916, the historic Legacy Building in downtown Wichita has been reimagined as the new headquarters for Keycentrix, a technology company serving the pharmacy industry. LK Architecture worked alongside the owner and construction team to transform this three-story landmark into a modern, collaborative workplace while preserving its architectural heritage.
The renovation respected the building’s original character—retaining the tin ceilings, wood floors, and window details—while introducing contemporary features such as open workspaces, pod offices, wellness and activity rooms, and integrated smart security systems.
Balancing modernization with preservation, LK Architecture helped create a workspace that reflects both the innovative spirit of Keycentrix and the enduring craftsmanship of the Legacy Building. The completed project enhances employee collaboration, supports future growth, and contributes to the continued revitalization of downtown Wichita.
