Description:
This facility can accommodate up to 20 jets. The building was designed to be clear span with two-story support wings housing shops, spare parts storage, customer lounge and a showroom. The field services division offices are located nearby to offer assistance to customers.
A unique feature in the hangar area is the special floor surface that is not only resistant to staining and impact loads, but has a white reflective surface which reflects light to the under side of the aircraft; thus illuminating repair work.
The facility was designed to be a showcase building at the Wichita headquarters of Learjet. The corporation’s leaders wanted to impress upon its current and potential customers that it would provide them with the highest quality customer support services in a facility that is equally impressive.
