Dan is Senior Vice President of the healthcare division at LK Architecture. Since 1985, he has been responsible for the design of more than 350 senior care facilities nationwide including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, hospice, PACE program, adult day care and memory care projects.

Dan, and his healthcare team,  work with national developers/operators with their plans for new facilities as well as addition/remodel projects that increase bed counts and upgrade interiors to increase the marketability of existing properties.  Dan also has specialized in the design of environments for persons with dementia since 1988, when nursing home owners first struggled with issue of how to care for the increasing number of their residents that were experiencing dementia-related symptoms.  Since those early days, Dan was involved with several national long term care providers in their efforts to offer meaningful, effective care for memory care residents.
